GIOVANNI FALZONE - tromba, elettronica, effetti umani VALERIO SCRIGNOLI - chitarra elettrica MICHELE TACCHI - basso RICCARDO TOSI - batteria     Il progetto “Around Jimi” oltre ad essere un tributo ad uno dei musicisti più importanti della musica rock, in occasione del quarantesimo anniversario dalla morte, nasce dalla volontà di creare un incontro immaginario tra Miles Davis e Jimi Hendrix, che a causa della prematura scomparsa di quest’ultimo non avvenne mai. Il repertorio è caratterizzato dall’alternanza di brani composti da Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis e Giovanni Falzone. Gli arrangiamenti, tutti di Falzone, hanno come obbiettivo quello di creare un suono omogeneo e di ripercorrere, attraversando stili e generi musicali differenti - jazz, rock, classico-contemporanea - momenti esecutivi con strutture ben definite per tutti gli strumenti e momenti di puro interplay. Fanno parte di questo progetto musicisti capaci e attenti con i quali il Leader ha instaurato un rapporto di complicità ed intesa musicale, grazie soprattutto alla loro sensibilità e capacità di recepire ogni piccolo segnale.     The "Around Jimi" besides being a tribute to one of the most important musicians in rock music, on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the death, stems from the desire to create an imaginary encounter between Miles Davis and Jimi Hendrix, who because of premature death of the latter never happened. The repertoire is characterized by alternating songs composed by Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis and Giovanni Falzone. The arrangements, all of Falzone, have the goal of creating a homogeneous sound or to repeat, through different musical styles and genres - jazz, rock, classical and contemporary – situations with well defined structures for all instruments and moments of pure interplay. Part of this project are musicians capable and intent with which the Leader has established a relationship of complicity and understanding of music, mainly due to their sensitivity and ability to incorporate every little signal.
