Siamo felici di riproporre Bill Frisell, che si esibì per la prima volta a Clusone nel 1987, in un memorabile concerto in questo stesso teatro. Già allora riconosciuto come un  grandissimo talento per l’originalità del suono e la capacità di mescolare  blues, country, distorsioni rock e  jazz,   è ora considerato unanimamente il chitarrista più rappresentativo di questi decenni.

I progetti a suo nome, in varie direzioni e formazioni,  le collaborazioni, da John Zorn, a Paul Motian,  Elvis Costello,  Elvin Jones, gli album, prima con l’ECM  poi con la Nonesuch, sono stati innumerevoli, ma sempre caratterizzati da altissima qualità, lirismo, voglia di scoprire e sperimentare nuovi mondi musicali e nuove sonorità, mantenendo quel timbro  e quella sensibilità che lo rendono diverso da tutti, subito riconoscibile e indiscusso maestro per chiunque ami la chitarra, la ricerca musicale e l’improvvisazione.

We are happy to reintroduce you to Bill Frisell, who performed for the first time in Clusone in 1987 in a memorable concert in this same theater. Even then recognized as a great talent for originality of sound and the ability to mix blues, country, jazz and rock distortion, the guitarist is now widely considered the most representative of these decades. The projects to his name, in different directions and groups, collaborations, John Zorn, Paul Motian, Elvis Costello, Elvin Jones, albums, first with the ECM then with Nonesuch, were innumerable, but always characterized by high quality, lyricism, desire to discover and test new musical worlds and new sounds, maintaining that tone and that feeling that makes it different from all, immediately recognizable and undisputed master for anyone who loves guitar, music research and improvisation.
