Niente progetto, niente tributo, niente dediche ai “veri” jazzisti dei tempi passati, … soltanto jazz in tutte le sue forme più belle. Il jazz è la più famosa musica improvvisata di tutti i tempi, e, come facevano una volta, i brani verranno scelti quando i musicisti si raduneranno per la serata. La scelta dei pezzi dipenderà dall’umore dei musicisti perchè quello è il vero jazz: suonare, cantare, e improvvisare quello che uno si sente di fare sul momento. Lo studio Jazz è un altra cosa,  è raccogliere i frutti di quello studio nell’esecuzione d’assieme sul palcoscenico.

Un concerto che mette in gioco l’abilità, la sensibilità e la capacità per un viaggio della storia del jazz, cominciando dalle sue radici, dal “Ragtime”, salutando i “Blues”, ”Swing”, “Mainsream”, “Cool”, ai giorni nostri con composizioni jazz originali di Joanna e Riccardo, tutto ciò ispirato dai “veri” grandi del jazz come Bix Beiderbecke, Fletcher Henderson, Earl Hines, Harold Arlen, Cole Porter, Ellington, Benny Golson, Gershwin, Monk, Mingus. 

No draft, no charge, no dedications to the "real" jazz musicians of the past ... only jazz in all its most beautiful forms. Jazz is improvised music, and, the songs will be chosen when the musicians will gather for the evening. The choice of pieces will depend on the mood of the musicians. That is the real jazz, playing, singing, improvisation and what one feels like doing at the moment. The study of Jazz is another thing, you reap the rewards of that study together on stage performing what you have learnt.
